How it works

A shop that comes to the customer

In classic e-commerce the customer has to find a shop or a marketplace. Boksero reverses that: the offer goes to the sites the customer already visits, and it can be bought right there. We call it distributed e-commerce or a P2P commerce network — sellers and publishers connect directly, with no shop in the middle.

1. Warehouse — supply

The seller adds products, services or listings to their warehouse — by hand or automatically from WooCommerce, Shopify, Allegro or an XML feed. The warehouse is the single source of price, description and stock.

2. Widget — distribution

The publisher picks offers and, once the seller agrees, embeds them in a “Smart Box” on their site (one line of code) or shares them with a Smart Link. The same offer can run in many widgets at once.

3. Split Payment — monetization

The customer pays in the widget (payments are handled by Stripe). The order amount is split automatically between the seller, the publisher and the platform — according to the terms both sides accepted, with every order.

Who it's for

  • Sellers who want to reach customers without marketplace fees or buying ads.
  • Publishers — bloggers, portals, creators — who want to earn from their traffic without running a shop.
  • Customers who want to buy what they're reading about, without hunting for a shop.

Questions and answers

What is P2P commerce or distributed e-commerce?

It's a model where selling doesn't happen in one central shop but in many places at once — on publishers' sites. The seller and the publisher agree directly, and the platform provides the widget, the payment and the settlement.

What is a Smart Link?

It's a link to the widget's purchase page, for places where you can't embed code — e.g. a social media bio or a message.

Who processes the payment?

Payments are processed by Stripe. Boksero automatically splits the order amount between the seller, the publisher and the platform.

Does the customer have to go to another shop?

No. They place the order in the widget on the page they are reading.
